Rangitaiki College has a team of teacher aides and a SENCO to support learners.

Future Planning

Rangitaiki College provides careers advice, offers Trades and Gateway programmes, arranges visits to further education providers, organises work experience, and provides opportunities for additional certificates and qualifications.

Physical Wellbeing Support

Rangitaiki College provides access to a nurse and counsellor for consultations. We also provide morning tea and lunches.

Our school works closely with many services across the Eastern Bay to support our young people through challenges.

Inclusion Support

Rangitaiki College provides uniform support for students who need it, along with access to devices.

Social Support

Rangitaiki College actively hosts student-led groups where like-minded students can connect and build supportive relationships.

Pastoral Support Services

Student pastoral care is an essential and integral part of the daily life of our school. It is a partnership between parents and caregivers, whānau, community agencies, and the school to foster personal growth among students.

Promotion of Restorative Practice

We use the PB4L (Positive Behaviour for Learning) model to restore relationships in a just and caring manner.

Our curriculum is vibrant and strengths-based for maximum engagement, with a strong focus on lifelong success and a love of learning.

Our team includes Teachers, Kaiārahi (Tutor Teachers), Kaitiaki (Deans), Deputy Principals, a Counsellor, Registered Nurse, Careers Advisor, Gateway Administrator, and a SENCO (Special Needs Co-ordinator).
