Careers
Every pathway is important and valuable when it is the right fit for your rangatahi at this stage of your journey. If They are unsure about their pathway or have subject selection coming up, make an appointment in the Careers Room. Together, we can help keep their future options as open and flexible as possible.
MyMahi Platform
Congratulations to the many Rangitaiki College students engaging positively with the MyMahi platform. It is fantastic to see students exploring the gratitude tools, job pathways section, and entry-level employment opportunities.
Students are encouraged to continue exploring the MyMahi platform, using the CV builder, and saving CV drafts as Google Docs for feedback and editing support.
Students can also access the live chat section designed for their whānau ako.
Gateway Programme – Work Experience
Senior students interested in gaining workplace experience are encouraged to speak with Matua Taupara in the Careers Room. Work placements are generally one day per week for up to 10 weeks, with some flexibility available.
An application form signed by parents or caregivers is required.
